Parental input to Ofsted at either site is going to be interesting to put it mildly.
On another note can we all wish the Kings Staff and Students the very best, I have some idea from some experiences in the past how hard it is to have to do an excellent job under so much pressure when there is so much uncertainty hanging over you. It is horrible - stay strong.... buy in a bottle for Wednesday!
Ofsted will be at Kings on Monday and Tuesday for a monitoring visit (not a full inspection). This was supposed to have happened several weeks ago, but following the announcement about the schools, nothing was heard from Ofsted. The timing seems very convenient, seeing as the initial meetings with parents about the take over proposal will be concluded tomorrow (Friday). I wouldn't be surprised if Ofsted conveniently found Kings to have stalled in it's improvements to coincide with the convenient timing of the visit.
