PJ Wilkinson refuses to speak to parents on BBC Surrey
Barbara Lapthorn and Ian Sorby were interviewed by Nick Wallis on BBC Surrey this morning. PJ Wilkinson refused to be interviewed alongside them but provided a response slightly later.
Just reading an article detailing an assessment of SCC carried out by Michael Frater in 2009. The words used in his report about the council were as follows:
- arrogant - self serving - obsessive - control freakery - poor relations with local authorities - superior - malpractice
If PJ Wilkinson was an officer at SCC in 2009 it does not appear that he has learnt anything from the findings or perhaps never even read the report. The manner in which this merger has been pushed forward by his department with the only considering being numbers is appalling. This was reflected in his manner on the radio interview which I thought to be superior, arrogant and self serving - nothing changes at SCC!!!
