  1. As a teacher reading this, I AM WORRIED!!! Governers read with interest please!! and at the meetings Ryles was not phased about staff turn over and the SCC guy said staff would have their opinions taken into consideration........I'm still waiting to officially give mine as still no-one has asked us teachers what we think!!

  2. As a Borough Councillor representing Frimley Ward, I am dismayed at the implications for pupils, parents and traffic of this proposal.
Pupils will face disruption to their education, parents will face longer journies between the two sites. Who, living in Frimley Ward would opt to go to Kings or vice versa? Traffic movements will be generated which will have to negotiate the Toshiba roundabout in competiton with ambulances trying to access Frimley Park's A&E.
There is no extra provision for pupil parking at either site despite the new vocational block being built at Tomlinscote. The consequence would be greater pressure to park on residential roads already coping weith Siemens and Hospital cars. It would be a logistical nightmare as well as bad for the environment.
When the consultation takes place, those with the opportunity should point out that no local person woold benefit.
